What time does Superman come to Fortnite? Superman skin release time in Fortnite explained
The Superman skin in Fortnite will be released on Tuesday, August 10th.
The in-game counter confirms the Superman skin will be made available at the same time as quests are usually, which is 10am Eastern US time.
In various regions, this Superman release time is:
- UK – 3pm (BST)
- Europe – 4pm (CEST)
- East Coast US – 10am (EDT)
- West Coast US – 7am (PDT)
While you wait for the Superman skin to be released, you can work on unlocking the Season 7 Battle Pass skins and flying UFOs.
The latest event is the Fortnite Ariana Grande concert, which includes challenges such as Rift Tour poster locations and emote in front of a camera.
The alien invasion of Fortnite continues with the arrival of mothership abducting, UFOs, Alien Artefacts, Cosmic Chests and ray guns.
There are time-limited Legendary Quests starting every Wednesday, as well as the on-going Character Collection and Fish Collection to complete!
Superman cosmetic items in Fortnite explained
Despite not being able to unlock the Superman skin in Fortnite, we can look at the Superman themed cosmetic items we’ll be able to earn once the skin is available.
There are, including the overall skin, 10 Superman-themed items to collect:
- Clark Kent Skin
- Secret Identity Built In-emote, which allows Clark to transform into Superman
- Clark Kent (Shadow) Skin Variant
- Call to Action Emoticon
- Kal-El’s Cape Glider
- Solitude Striker Harvesting Tool
- Superman-themed Banner Icon
- Superman Shield Spray
- The Daily Planet Back Bling
- The Last Son of Krypton Loading Screen

How might we unlock the Superman skin in Fortnite?
Currently, we have no idea how the Superman skin will be unlocked in Fortnite.
Though, by looking back at how we unlocked the Neymar Jr skin, it feels safe to assume we may have to complete a series of Superman themed challenges in a similar fashion to the football inspired challenges from last season.

There’s also a possibility that the new Battle Pass system for Season 7 will be implemented on the Superman themed cosmetics, especially since they are divided over two pages. This could mean we’ll have to use Battle Stars, or a Superman themed currency like Kryptonite, to unlock the cosmetics we prefer, with some having a higher requirement level than others.

This is all, of course, speculation and we’re fully prepared to be wrong!
